Sweet Stephanie of the blog Royal T Designs (and Dockside Dogs, the cutest little dog boutique ever) was just up in Maine visiting the most adorable cottage I've ever laid eyes on. The little lake home belongs to her aunt and uncle who completely renovated the space themselves. She said before they got their hands on it it was a total mess of a shack. They tore it down to just the beams, then collected all the awesome original 50's appliances, dishes, flooring, countertops, cabinets, etc. They also kept all of the original furniture and reupholstered it...turquoise!
