Panageries

I so want to fill our kitchen with delectable turquoise tile!! This fabulous home by interior designer Cynthia Masters of Panageries in Greenville, South Carolina is bursting with great color and design! I love the juxtaposition of the bright white spaces with the moody red and turquoise dining room, and how she carries the color palette throughout. I'm feeling a global influence here as well, which is something the Southern designer is known for! See more of the home photographed by Fisheye Studios right on over here!

Enjoy your weekend everyone!! Can't believe December is almost here!

Echelon Custom Homes

This Delaware Shore home is a beautiful breath of fresh coastal air! Designed and built by Echelon Custom Homes, the spacious home located at the The Peninsula overlooking the Indian River Bay is so open and welcoming. Don't you love the paint colors?? They used one of my favorites–Sea Salt by Sherwin William in both the living room and the bathroom. (The cozy kitchen is painted Sherwin Williams Oyster Bay.) I just love the mix of woods, patterns and beachy colors in the living room. Great accessories too! Tour the rest of the home, including a really cool game room and office, right here!

Amanda Nisbet Design

Amanda Nisbet is one of the very first designers I ever learned about and immediately loved. Can you see why?! Her extensive portfolio is so colorful and so fresh that it leaves me practically speechless! Her genius blend of color, pattern and texture make for some incredibly elegant, fun and daring interiors. Not to mention totally livable and comfortable! This hardly puts a dent it in, you must head to her site to see lots more of her incredible designs!

Amanda also recently published her very first book, Dazzling Design. Definitely one for our wish lists this year!

Tracery Interiors

Aqua, seaweed green, driftwood, white...it just doesn’t get any better than that. The talented designers at Tracery Interiors hit the ball right out of the park with this WaterSound beach house photographed by Jean Allsopp! They gave the relaxed space a coastal vibe by bringing all the colors and textures of the beach indoors. Don't you love the circular conversation area?? Those blue slipcovered chairs look uber comfy! For even more fabulous beach homes designed by Tracery, just visit their portfolio...you'll be glad you did!

Cole Wagner Cabinetry

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving week!! It's nice to be back home after our great vacation to Montana (more about that later)! My favorite thing after a loooong ride in the car?? A loooong hot bath! What a dream it would be to soak away in this beautiful bathroom by Cole Wagner Cabinetry out of Rochester Hills, Michigan, photographed here by Beth Singer. The color on the vanity and ceiling is entirely lovely, and I love the pretty light fixture! Oh and I'll take the chairs too, love those! Check out more work by Cole Wagner Cabinetry over at their gallery!

Edit: Cabinets are painted Benjamin Moore HC-144 Palladian Blue.

Guest Blogger: Joann from Kandrac & Kole Interior Designs

Hi! – I’m Joann Kandrac – One half of Kandrac & Kole Interior Designs, Inc. based in Atlanta, Georgia.

I am also a turquoise lover like Erin and appreciate her asking me to guest blog while she’s away!

We received a call from a client who told us she had been “stalking us” through Pinterest, our website, and facebook.   She loved our style and called for a consultation for her outdoor space.  She had just completed a large backyard project incorporating a pool, spa, out door kitchen and eating and lounging area.

The space was beautiful but lacked color or style. We were thrilled to take it on!!

We had a lot of fun “stylizing” this space.  It was a beautiful spring day in Atlanta.  We had music playing, refreshing drinks and snacks, our amazing install team and a bowl of cherries to top it off!!

One of the great advantages we had was that the client was a big Pinterest fan and had been compiling outdoor spaces she loved.  Her boards gave us great insight into what she was drawn to.  She had several pictures of hanging swings.  We got right on that.

We are so fortunate to have access to so many talented people that work on our team!!  This custom swing was created by Mitch Mitton.

Here is the upstairs deck where we incorporated the tailor made swing, a zinc top table, and window treatments in all "outdoor friendly" materials.

We received this email from the client a couple weeks after the install:

"Tom and I were looking for a place to go while the kids are at camp, but couldn't find anywhere as wonderful as our own house. THANK YOU GALS SO MUCH!!!"

I just love my job!!

Joann

Happy Thanksgiving!

Just stopping in to wish all of my American readers a Happy Thanksgiving! Isn't this tablescape designed by Chris Nease of Celebrations at Home perfect for today (and this blog)?! I love the brown and turquoise color scheme with the pop of orange and yellow from the flowers. So many great ideas here, my favorite being the cute wishbones! I love that everyone gets to make a wish! See more pics and learn all about this festive table right here!

I can hardly believe it but this November marks my 5th year writing this blog. I'd never have made it this long without all of your support and encouragement, not to mention shared love of turquoise! So on this thankfullest day of the year, thank YOU from the bottom of my heart for reading House of Turquoise!

Signing off from our cute little cabin in Montana!

Guest Blogger: Traci Connell Interiors

We are Traci Connell Interiors and are thrilled to be guest posting today here on House of Turquoise.

We are an Interior Design firm in Dallas, Texas that specializes in creating beautiful, transitional spaces with character and uniqueness. We work in mainly two ways with our clients, full service design and online design. One in which we are fully involved in every detail, and one in which we plan out your space and you put it all together yourself! We'd love for you to read more about our full service design and online design programs on our website!

Today, we are here to tell you about a space we recently completed,
using House of Turquoise's favorite hue...Blue!
(which happens to be our favorite color as well!)

A traditional home transformed into a light, airy and transitional masterpiece....what fun!

The sea-green base of this light and airy family room emphasize the light blues, creams and wood tones in this family room. The most stunning Vanguard sectional is the framework for this comfortable, and beautiful family room.

We incorporated a bit of geometric, contemporary feel with the Kravet patterned sofa pillows. With the dark woven woods, the cream sheer drapery panels in this room really stood out.

We are in love with this greek key nailhead pattern on the sofa arms.

A cozy kitchen nook was created with this "birch woods" inspired artwork
 and custom table and chairs.

This formal living room greets you as you walk through the front door of this home.
How light, airy and inviting is this space?

By using soft blues, warm golds, and creams, we incorporated a bit of whimsy in the rug
along with geometric striped chair upholstery and small chevron window treatments
for this beautiful dining room. The client kept her existing dining table and side chairs
and we came in to add the striped chairs and other items!

Thank you House of Turquoise for inviting us to guest post today!
