With so many fabulous pieces, it was no surprise to learn that homeowner Beatriz Silveira also owns Batik Interiores, a design shop in Madrid. I love how loads of natural light and a serene palette give the apartment a sense of space, with a cozy, warm feel. The wood floors and wooden furniture–especially the classic Wishbone Chairs, are just beautiful too!! You can tour more of the home over at Micasa!

Caitlin Wilson Design
Caitlin Wilson has long been a favorite designer of mine. Just looking at her fantastic Philadelphia penthouse apartment photographed by Courtney Apple, I'm sure you can see why! Known for her fresh use of color and bold patterns, and an incredible textile line that incorporates both, Caitlin successfully mixes high-end with bargain finds for a look that's unexpected and unique. I love every element from her home–where she also runs her business, from the bold colors (the foyer painted Key Largo Green by Benjamin Moore!!) and patterns to the eclectic mix of pieces collected from their life and travels abroad. You can see lots more from Caitlin and learn the sources of things above over at Design*Sponge and her feature in Matchbook Magazine. Definitely don't miss her always-inspiring blog either, as well as this post here with my favorite project of Caitlin's!

Sceneries Armonia
I was instantly smitten with LA-based designer Emily Ruddo of Armonia Decors when I saw her fabulous work popping up on so many of my favorite blogs over the last couple weeks. Like so many of us, Emily gravitates towards blue, and uses the coast and water as inspiration in many of her designs. She is a big fan of creating spaces where people feel harmonious and calm, but more importantly, better about themselves when they are in them. (Love that.) The right blends of color are usually a part of her equation, as you can see from these amazing photos taken by photographer Meghan Beierle-O'Brien. Check out her blog for lots of inspiration and ideas, and her portfolio right over here!
