Your Rainbow Panorama In Arhus, Denmark

Its rainbow panorama in Arhus, Denmark, was designed by Olafur Eliasson. At the end of SHL cube of red brick in 2007, an international art competition was launched to find a crown jewel of the building, completing the course by the legendary Dante text. Danish / Icelandic Olafur Eliasson, artist was selected Dominique Perrault, DS R + and Maya Lin, in a bid for the project, construction began in 2009 on the site.

The permanent installation takes the form of a circular walk of 150m covers all colors of the spectrum. A 3 m wide, the passage is wide enough for a number of people to move easily and is designed to act as a visual compass for the city of Aarhus, and offers incredible panoramic views across the district. This work is typical of the artist, whose previous architectural models act as a contemplative piece that examines the relationship between the body and the environment.
